Diversity. It is what River Valley Farm is all about.

River Valley Farm is New England’s foremost breeder of California Red Sheep. We also have a lovely flock of white Cotswold sheep, and a Texel sired commercial ewe flock. Two Guard Llamas and some charming Colored and White Angora Goats keep us fiberholic happy!

In addition to our fiber livestock we raise Black Java Chickens for sale, eggs and meats.

We farm using biodynamic methods which basically is organic farming taken to the next level. The few crops we grow are for our family's and livestock's consumption. The manures our livestock produce are composted and spread on our pastures to maintain their fertility without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides.
